The lithography (stone print) is in the graph, the basic and most common type of flat pressure. She is a very beautiful yet simple technology which is the drawing on paper the next and while faithfully captured the character of the artist's handwriting. Developed in 1799 by Alois Senefelder, it reached great importance in reproduction. Goya, Daumier, Matisse, Picasso, Miró, Chagall, Tapies and Rauschenberg, to name just a few, so that created outstanding works. And everyone knows the multicolored posters of Henri Toulouse-Lautrec. Nowadays all lithographers confirm their charm and their vibrancy.

Participants will be introduced to the technique of lithography and realize about the preparatory work on stone, drawing, preparation and printing its own image design. The practical work will be accompanied by information on the history of lithography / offset printing and art considerations. Please, if any, drawings sketches or other bring along.
